Back pressure turbine

A steam turbine whose exhaust steam pressure is greater than atmospheric pressure is called a back pressure turbine. Exhaust steam can be used for heating or supplying original medium and low pressure steam turbines to replace medium and low pressure boilers in old power plants. The latter is also called a front-mounted steam turbine, which can not only increase the power generation capacity of the original power plant, but also improve the thermal economy of the original power plant.
