Principle structure of toothed single roll crusher

Toothed single roll crusher is consisted of rotary roller with large tooth and adjustable crushing plate. The material is smashed, pressed or rumpled in the single-tooth roll breaker. When the materials enter into the breaking cavity from top of the hopper, the material is brought into the breaking cavity between the tooth roller and crushing plate by the rotary roller for breaking. The crushed materials will be discharged by the self-gravity from the discharging port. Roll crusher features a pair of large wheels or cylinders mounted on horizontal axis. When rocks, ore, and other materials pass between the two cylinders, they are crushed or ground into smaller pieces. A roll crusher can be used in a wide variety of applications, including concrete recycling, coal mining, and mineral or metal production.

The fixed part of roller and movable roller are driven by the motor via reducer and v-belt and the raw materials fall into the part between the two rollers from the inlet of the machine. The two rollers rotate inward simultaneously. The materials are extruded, crushed and ground and then the finished products come out from the bottom of this crusher.

In a standard double roll crusher, the two cylinders each feature a steel or ceramic finish. A hopper or bin above the rollers drops rocks and other materials down into the gap between cylinders. The two cylinders rotate in opposite directions to force all materials into the space between the two units as it falls. The friction between the two wheels crushes the material, which then falls into a collection bin below the unit. Users must set the space between the rollers to match the desired size of the crushed particles.
